An antique 19th-century hand-painted porcelain figurine by Meissen Porzellan, a prominent German porcelain manufacture. The figure represents a woman sitting at a spinning wheel with a Bible in her hands. After a model by J.J. Kaendler. Crossed swords hallmark, embossed mark 2685 41, painted mark Da are on the bottom of the item. Fine detail work, gilt accents. Rococo German Porcelain Decor For Collectors.
