Ancient New Kingdom Faience Ushabti Ca. 19th Dynasty, ca. 1293 - 1185 B.C. Size 6 inches high + mount. Light blue glazed faience pottery mummiform ushabti with his arms crossed, holding the royal implements, wearing the royal wig and carrying a seed bag on his back. Black painted details and a register of nicely painted hieroglyphic inscription down his front legs. Overall scattered areas of glaze wear and loss, eyes and mouth repainted. Metal base. Provenance: NYC collection, ex. Fortuna Fine Arts, NYC.
