Exhibited: An exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois, according to multiple labels affixed verso.
Condition
Visual of each: Dust accumulation, specks of grime, dirt, slight and scattered frame abrasion, and minor darkening to the pigment commensurate with age. The larger interior with fine craquelure scattered throughout. A 9" horizontal crease and folding, attendant with the lifting of the canvas from the board along the upper edge. The "Rye" painting with the canvas slightly loose from the stretcher, with attendant uneven puckering of the canvas throughout. A pea-sized area of pigment loss in the upper left quadrant. A 0.625" H x 1" W sticker affixed to the lower left corner, of the recto canvas, with attendant pigment loss.

Blacklight: No evidence of restoration.
