Jade Chinese Carved Puzzle Ball on Rosewood Stand. This is a carved layered puzzle ball with freely moving inner layers. The outer layers depicts carved dragons. These balls are loaded with symbolism and were often used as good luck charms for Chinese Emperors, Royalty and Nobles. This is a large piece measuring 37" Circumference and 16" tall with stand. The weight is 37 lbs. There are some scuff marks on the inner balls and the rosewood base, but to no signs of breakage or repairs. Please refer to all photos. Overall in very good condition.
