A French Quarter service plate for the Illinois Central Railroad titled "Old Grima Home St. Louis Street New Orleans" measuring 10 3/4". This is one of 10 from the original series used on the Panama Limited during the 1930s and 1940s. The plate is bottom stamped Old Grima Home St. Louis Street. Illinois Central System. in script Bauscher China Germany Arthur Schiller & Son 2350 27. The plate has a bright, clean graphic with minimal signs of use and minor discoloration on the bottom from stacking. There is some minor wear to the graphic border of the food well at the top right, bottom right, and top left. No chips, cracks, or breaks. See photos for best description.
