Binder full of forty-three mostly black and white locomotive photographs, post cards, newspaper clippings, magazine articles, annual pass, and build cards with detailed information of the locomotive build on the back. This is from The Collection of Walter Arndt Lucas, Railfan and Author, Hawthorne, N.J. The binder was purchased at an auction of his estate in October 1972. The first page describes the American Locomotive Company history and there is a copy of the auction flyer. The binder is tabbed and organized by railroads. The tabs are B&H, Frisco, StL&H, StPB.T, G&A, SK, S.R., S.P.I., TRRA, U.P., W.RY., and For Industrial Service. The Union Pacific section includes a 1951 annual pass issued to A.C. Jackson Missouri Pacific Lines. The cover and some interior tab pages show mild to moderate discoloration and staining, but no major notable condition issues and the photos appear to be in good condition. Some show writing marks.
