A group of four builders photographs from American Locomotive Company showcasing their Lackawanna Railroad steam engine locomotives in different configurations. A photograph for #1603 4-8-4 measuring 23 1/4" x 9 1/2" shows frayed edges and moderate discoloration from age. A photograph for #398 2-8-0 measuring 24 5/8" x 12" appears to be from a larger binder because of the 2-hole punch on the end and shows discoloration, wrinkles along the bottom, and a few spots. A photograph for #539 2-6-0 mounted on cardboard measuring 25 7/8" x 14". The photograph was likely removed from a matted frame and shows moderate damage around the edges and severe damage to the left side with stains, discoloration, and pencil marks. There are also a few holes below the locomotive wheels. Also includes a 22 1/4" x 7 1/4" visible image of #1154 4-6-4 in a matted frame measuring 28 1/4" x 14 1/4". The photograph shows a few minor wrinkles at the bottom, the matting shows minor discoloration marks at the bottom, and the frame shows scratches at the right bottom side.
