Description
DSP. C. 1920s "Ask Here for Mobiloil" double-sided porcelain curb stand with original embossed base and early gargoyle graphic. CONDITION: Side 1, has fair color throughout the graphic, with significant surface scratching and staining, as well as two porcelain chips in the field. Sign has multiple areas of match paint and a significant touch-up directly under the "Mobiloil" lettering. Sign also shows significant staining and porcelain loss on the outer edges of the sign, most notably the bottom edge of the piece. (6.75). Side 2, has better color and gloss than the previous side, but does have more significant touch-up in both the "Mobiloil" lettering and the bottom edge. Sign has very minor porcelain loss in the field as well. Overall, a nice displaying piece, perfect for any collection, complete with the original base. This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (6.75, 6.75). Dimensions: 24" X 24" X 58"
