A MONUMENTAL FREDERIC REMINGTON (American 1861-1909) BRONZE SCULPTURE," Coming through the Rye," with a dark brown patination and signed in the groundwork base "Frederic Remington," raised on a conforming variegated green and white marble plinth. Height: 27 1/2" Width: 29" Depth: 28 1/2". Fine detailed casting, large palatial size presentation and bronze patina found throughout. The horses branding as shown, very crisp as are many of the details on this casting. No foundry marks found, but appears to be a very early cast. See photos for details.
