Roman, Republic to Imperial Period, ca. 3rd century BCE to 4th century CE; Greece, ca. 300 to 100 BCE; Byzantine Empire to Islamic periods, 4th to 7th century CE; South Asia, India, Kushan to Mughal period, ca. 2nd to 18th century CE. A collection of 106 copper, bronze, brass, and leaded bronze coins from ancient to post-medieval cultures - primarily Roman with a few coins with Arabic or Persian inscriptions. These coins could be used for crafting unique pieces of jewelry. Size of largest: 1.1" Diameter (2.8 cm); smallest: 0.35" Diameter (0.9 cm); weight: 312 grams

Condition
Coins range from Fine (F), Good (G), to Fair. Edge splitting and clipping to peripheries on some. Faces are rubbed and indiscernible on some, and others have clearer faces. Nice patina on many with rich mineral deposits. Great variety of sizes and types.
