A very large Chinese Famille Rose baluster floor vase, late Qing Dynasty, late 19th century, with flared petal rim gilt Foo dog handles and applied gilt salamanders, painted with courtly Mandarin panels within borders of multicoloured butterflies and blooms, on its own carved hardwood stand. 32 cm overall diameter x 82 cm height of actual vase, 102 cm height including stand.
