The oxblood lacquered lidded wood box with low relief mother of pearl inlay depicting a scene of waterfowl on a reed-lined riverbank and further decorated with avian and floral motifs to each side, raised on a carved wood base

Overall good condition with scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, shrinkage cracks, and indentations commensurate with age. Scattered minor losses to the inlay.
