“The Marvelous Land of Oz” or simply, “The Land of Oz” by L. Frank Baum is the sequel to the beloved “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”. The story introduces a new protagonist, Tip, an orphan boy mistreated by the witch Mombi. Tip creates and animates Jack Pumpkinhead and the Sawhorse, and they, along with the Scarecrow and the Tin Woodman, embark on a series of adventures involving a coup in the Emerald City and an escape in a magical flying contraption. The journey leads them to the revelation of Ozs true heir, the long-lost princess Ozma, setting the stage for a triumphant restoration of the rightful ruler to the throne of Oz.
