Kang Xi, Era, circa 1720 Chinese export for the English market. The WEARG arms are emblazoned as is the crest. The coat impaling MONTAGUE, quartering MONTHERMER. The Wearg family originated in Sussex, where the name was recorded in a deed of 1312. For example see "Chinese Armorial Porcelain" vol.1, p.191, by D.S. Howard.
