Description
Figure depicts a Red Army Budenovets. Budenovite (or budenovets) is a fighter of the First Cavalry Army under the command of Semyon Budyonny during the Civil War. A distinctive type of a military uniform hat is also coming from this origin, budenovka. Revolutionary art depicted budenovka as an integral attribute of the Red Army, it was often used in propaganda posters calling on workers and peasants to join the revolution.
