[RAILROAD]. The Great American Lake Shore Railroads. Buffalo: Thomas & Lathrops, 1856.

Chromolithograph poster or broadside printed in red, green and black, on old linen, vignette of one of its trains (soiling, sunning, marred spots to vignette and some lettering, staining). Framed, sight 23 ¼ x 18”. The Lake Shore was a major route from Buffalo to Chicago, primarily along the south shore of Lake Erie and its trackage still remains a major transportation corridor used by Amtrak passenger trains and freight lines. RARE: we could not locate any other examples.
