Artisan crafted for use by infantry and cavalry soldiers, with relief designs of warriors on horseback, and incised Indo Persian style calligraphy with poetic and prosaic apotropaic inscriptions designed to ward off evil influences and bad luck in battle. Elaborate rosette ornaments and central raised sun design to front. Having H form leather brace handle to interior side.
