Description
1st item: Japanese keyaki hardwood sewing tansu having a partially hinged top opening to a removable tray and hidden drawer above four partial drawers and one full drawer, all fitted with brass hardware. 9" H x 11 1/2" W x 7" D.
2nd item: Japanese hardwood sewing or jewelry tansu having one full drawer above 3 partial drawers above one lower full drawer, all drawers with figured wood fronts and fitted with brass hardware. 10" H x 8" W x 9" D.
3rd item: Miniature Japanese lacquer keepsake box with landscape and bird decoration. Signed on the base SATO with other Japanese letters. 3" H x 2 3/4" D x 3 1/4" W. All boxes 1st. Qtr. 20th century.
4th & 5th items: Pair of Chinese silk embroidered textiles, rectangular form, consisting of a light blue silk panel with vertical gilt and polychrome embroidery to the lower half depicting seven shaped vignettes with foliate, landscape, or figural decoration within a lattice style border having foliate vignettes. Framed textile is signed along the lower right edge. One textile is framed in a gilt wood frame and float mounted- Sight: 40" H x 7" W. Framed: 51 1/4 " H x17 3/4 " W and the other is unframed - 41" H x 8" W. Late 19th/Early 20th century.

Condition
1st item: Bottom drawer does not fully close. Overall good condition with expected use wear. 2nd item: Vertical section of left side missing, approx. 1" W, overall general use wear and abrasions. 3rd item: Minor wear and losses to decoration, mostly to lid, overall good condition. 4th & 5th items: Both overall good condition. Framed textile with a couple of loose threads. Unframed textile edges are unfinished, possibly part of a larger textile. One is framed, frame with losses to gilt finish along the upper frame.
