A QING DYNASTY ROUGE MARBLE TOPPED BLACK LACQUERED LOW TABLE, CHINESE, 19TH CENTURY, having an overall Art Nouveau design the inset rose marble top within a carved wreath of blossoms on crawling tendrils over a concave waist issuing a bombé skirt pierced carved with an avian scene densely packed with prunus blossoms, lotus, and daffodils hiding among the bramble, raised on branch-like cabriole legs with carved flora ending on knotty, cloven hoof feet, joined by a leafy stretcher shelf, reverse of marble with inscriptions.
