Description
Made by the J. & E. Stevens Company. Cromwell, Ct. - Pat.'d Oct. 28, 1873. Made of Cast Iron. 6 3/4" Tall. To operate the Novelty Bank, you must firmly pull the doorknob towards you. The teller will then appear with his tray to receive your coin. Upon releasing the knob, the powerful spring-activated door will quickly snap shut to effectuate your deposit. Works well. Part of the William Werbell Collection.
