Description

Large Chinese 19th Century Enameled Porcelain Ginger or Tea Jar with a design to sides of a puce 5-claw Dragon on a lime green ground in clouds and with flaming Pearl, the reverse with a carp leaping from turquoise waves, the base in white with a double ring mark, the unglazed base and unglazed mouth with brown slip; with hard wood cover pierced with "Shou" roundel. Height of jar 10 inches (25.5 cm.).

Condition

Age related wear to enamels with minor scratches, the hard wood cover with a small chip to bottom edge.
