ENGLISH GEORGIAN STERLING SILVER SPOONS AND FISH SERVER, LOT OF SIX, comprising a caddy spoon having bright-cut engraved decoration and "ES" initials by an unknown maker with an 1800 date mark used in Birmingham; a dessert/soup spoon with feather-edged handle and engraved bust probably by George Smith II of London having 1778 date mark; a pair of dessert/soup spoons with engraved "G" initials by Richard Crossley of London having 1797 date marks; a teaspoon with engraved "GG" initials by Thomas Wallis II of London having 1791 date mark; and a fish server with reticulated scimitar blade by William Eley I, William Fearn & William Chawner of London having 1811 date mark. Most impressed with maker's mark, each impressed with three to four hallmarks including a lion passant for sterling fineness, a city mark, a date mark, and a King George III duty mark. Total weight: 8.605 ozt. Fourth quarter 18th and early 19th century. 2 1/2" to 12" LOA.

Mostly in good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and nicks; spoons with one or a few dents to bowls, slight bending to handles, and/or slightly worn bowl tips; caddy spoon with possible repair to side of bowl at terminal of handle; spoon with feather-edged handle having repair at medial of handle.
