the rectangular top painted in polychrome with gilt highlights, centered with a shaped panel showing a pheasant and a bird resting on rockworks, flanked by floral blossoms, further enclosed by winged bats and shou medallions in the midst of clouds and stylized kui dragons, the sides decorated with foliate scrolls, all above a narrow waist, the legs decorated with lotus scrolls, all reserved on a black ground.
