Three Japanese Sake Cups by Kiyomizu Rokubei VI, (Japanese, b.1901) c. 1930, represent the versatility of the artist who recalls stoneware and porcelain traditions in miniature forms. The gray stoneware cup is inspired by Shino ware; the porcelain cup is painted in the Kutani colors; the third cup emulates Seto ware in color and texture. All are stamped with the artist's seal. They come in a tomobako with inscribed lid.
