A Chinese carved white jade figural toggle
19th century
Carved in the form of a young boy climbing on blossoming gourds.
H: 1 7/8, W: 1 1/2, D: 5/8 in.
H: 4.76, W: 3.81, D: 1.59 cm.
Provenance: Mrs. Inn, Honolulu, Hawaii. Inherited from her father and grandfather Henry Inn and Fong Inn. Fong Inn established the first Chinese antiques shop in Hawaii in 1910.
