Description
A French Gilt Bronze and Marble Mantel Clock, Deniere, Paris, Mid 19th Century, the circular brass dial having Roman numerals, the twin train movement with silk suspension and outside countwheel striking on a bell, the backplate stamped 'DENIERE A PARIS' and 'CAILLEAUX' and numbered '316'.
Dimensions:Â Height 27 1/4in; width 17 3/4in; depth 7 3/4in.
Condition
General marks, wear, rubbing and toning to gilt bronze figures and mounts overall. Heavy cleaning and rubbing to the figures exposing the pins where figure's are fastened. Wear to painted numerals on dial. Scattered small fleabites to the edges and corners of clock case overall. Dust and dirt in crevices throughout. With Pendulum. We cannot guarantee the functionality and completeness of the clock's movement.
