Abelam Yam Harvest Ceremony Spirit Mask (Baba Tagwa Tumbwa) in coil-woven plant fiber, rattan, grey, yellow, red and black pigments. The Abelam People are a farming society in which giant yams play a significant role. They live in the Prince Alexander Mountains near the north coast of the island. Roughly 21" x 13" x 14". Wear to bottom edge, otherwise good condition.
