Black enamel on cast iron case with gilt incised filigree, has a concave hourglass form with a molded portrait of a French woman on the sash and gilt figural winged angels on the sides. Roman numeral, porcelain dial with visible escapement. Movement signed in part: Ansonia Clock Co. / June 14,81 / New York, USA.
