Description
Gorham, United States. Sterling silver Art Nouveau three-handled trophy cup with stylized handles and a beaded rim, 1906. Gold washed interior. Etched along the side "Pinehurst Country Club Holiday Week Tournament Runner Up President's Cup Won By, December 30th 1907. Pinehurst N.C." With an applied crest of the Pinehurst Country Club. Created for a golf tournament, the area where the name of the runner up would have been has been left blank. Maker's marks, key-shape date mark, sterling, "A1680," and "1 1/8 Pint" impressed along the underside.

Condition
There is one dent along the footrim just below one of the handles. Light wear and light scratches throughout. Some tarnishing to the recessed areas of the work. Some residual, old polish in the recessed areas of the cup.
