A Colonial Revival four chime carved mahogany tall case clock Bailey Banks & Biddle Co., Philadelphia, PA, early 20th century

Arched hood with carved fretwork and three finials, having two Ionic columns, brass face with mood dial, engraved, "Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co. Philadelphia," the case with molded top over blind fretwork, glass paneled sides and door, two Ionic columns, waist molding over paneled sides and front, flanked by Ionic pilasters, molded base on ball-and-claw feet; the case door with brass plaque to interior engraved, "To Mabel/ From Ambrose/ April 11, 1920."

includes three weights, four chimes, and a pendulum; great condition overall; some hazy or cloudy surface build-up to front columns; some minor occasional scuffs or scrapes, particularly to base and feet; slight loss to blind fret to left-facing side of case; partial break / loss to bottom board- missing that section; clock face bright overall, with minor occasional spots of oxidation to metal dial; does not include case key; one chime with replaced loop hanger, which is made from picture wire; as with all mechanical objects, Freeman’s does not guarantee functionality
