This is an auction for a 7-piece lot of The Fanscient sci-fi fanzine. THE FANSCIENT was a general interest fanzine about science fiction edited by Donald Day, out of Portland, Oregon. It was the club fanzine of the Portland Science Fantasy Society, regarded as one of the best titles in the field. Most issues were devoted to a specific science fiction or fantasy author and included a bibliography of their work. There were 13 issues published (professionally printed, mostly pocket-sized, normally 32 saddle-stiched pages) between September 1947 and the Summer of 1951. As you might guess, these are quite rare and each separate issue usually commands over $100 each on Ebay. Get the lot at reduced prices while you can! We are a veteran owned company.
