This lot contains Volume 4 of the American fantasy and science fiction magazine, "Imagination, " encompassing issues numbered 5, 6, and 7. These particular issues are in Good to Very Good condition, preserving their historical significance. "Imagination" was initially launched in October 1950 by Raymond Palmer's Clark Publishing Company but was swiftly acquired by the Greenleaf Publishing Company, under the ownership of William Hamling. Hamling took over the publication and editorial duties starting with the third issue in February 1951 and continued to oversee the magazine until its conclusion. Sadly, "Imagination" came to an end at the close of 1958, a casualty of the major upheavals in US magazine distribution caused by the liquidation of the American News Company.
