Description
Robert Abercomby (English, 18th century). Sterling silver, c. 1745-46. Height: 1 1/4", Diameter: 10". Weight: 18.83 ozt. George II era sterling silver salver tray by English silversmith Robert Abercromby. Shell and scroll detailed rim. Monogram to the center appears to read "SA". On three hoofed feet. With maker's mark "RA" to the underside as well as London assay marks and a date mark for 1745-46.
Condition
Good condition; there is a residue to the underside from masking tape. Light scratching to the overall piece. Condition reports are available from Stefek's upon request.
