Massachusetts, circa 1825, inscribed "Willard's Patent", surmounted by a gilt finial, painted dial, brass movement, brass scrolls, rope molding, throat panel painted with foliate motif, lower panel depicting "The Boston State House", blocked corners, includes winder, weight and pendulum, 33-1/2 x 10 x 4 in.

Condition

gilt finial with minor surface losses, and some restoration to gilt, dial with light craquelure and tiny paint losses, lower eglomise panel with small paint retouches, case with later pinning and shrinkages, restored gilt surface with minor wear and small losses, other general wear as expected with age and use
