Description
Beautiful details in this cast metal relief sculpture with brown patina composition designed by Art Nouveau and Art Deco master craftsman Rene Lalique. The iris flower set on a raised surface is represented in high relief with deep grooves that highlight parts of the petals that Lalique set on a background made of leaves. The finished product cast from this chief model was cast in gold with green plique-a-jour enamel leaves. This quality piece was acquired directly from the private collection of the descendants of Rene Lalique.
