Exceptional composition details in this cast metal relief sculpture with brown patina designed by Art Nouveau and Art Deco master craftsman Rene Lalique. The iris flower set on a raised surface is molded in high relief with deep crevices that highlight parts of the petals. Lalique set his flower design on a background made of leaves. This quality piece was acquired directly from the private collection of the descendants of Rene Lalique and has never been offered publicly.
