Notes:
James Bama’s early career as an illustrator had his work featured on the covers of books and magazines, including the Doc Savage series. The owner of this painting acquired it in the late 1970s and hung it in a caboose that served as a clubhouse on his property.

The painting appears to be in very good condition with buckling in the lower left and upper right corners. There are 2 indents upper and lower center. The painting was examined under blacklight and exhibits scattered areas of inpainting in the upper right sky and along the left hand side. The frame appears to be in good condition with general wear and tear throughout.
