SCANDINAVIAN STERLING AND OTHER SILVER OPEN SALTS AND SALT SPOON, LOT OF NINE, comprising a set of six Norwegian Viking ship sterling silver open salts by Magnus Aase of Bergen with each having enameled exterior, gilt-washed interior, and a colorless glass liner, and three Swedish pieces of two Viking ship open salts with cobalt glass interior liners of one being at least 0.800 silver fineness and one being silver-plated, and a silver-plated salt spoon with figural Viking ship tip. Each Magnus Aase piece with a maker's mark above "925 S. STERLING / NORWAY", one Swedish open salt with "C.G.H." maker's mark and other hallmarks including the National Control Mark, an "S" within a hexagon to indicate at least 0.800 silver fineness, and a "G9" date mark for 1957, other Swedish open salt marked "PRIMA NY SILVER / EPB MADE IN SWEDEN", salt spoon marked PRIMANS L.C.Co. SWEDEN". Total weight of six sterling open salts including enamel and excluding glass liners: 5.640 ozt. 20th century. One Norwegian open salt 3 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1 5/8" OA.

Condition
Very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including worn spots to gilt-wash and raised decoration, nicks, and possibly one or a few minor/small flakes to enamel; sterling open salt with dark blue enamel with two spots of chipping on one side; Swedish open salts with liners currently frozen.
