STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC TEA AND TABLE ARTICLES, LOT OF SIX, each having dark blue transfer scenes, comprising a covered sauce tureen featuring St. Catherine's Hill Near Guildford, a covered sugar with floral motif, three creamers including one with Country House View and one with Basket, Brick and Vase, and a waste bowl featuring a bird with nest. Marks to underside include printed "Stone / China" and impressed crown with "CLEWS WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE". James Keeling, Hanley; Ralph & James Clews, Cobridge, England. 5 1/2" HOA.

Three undamaged, some having scattered glaze wear to rim or spout; sauce tureen in excellent visual condition having some professional restoration to handles and some cover corners; Basket, Brick and Vase creamer having restoration to chip on spout; sugar having some scattered chips including one handle, rim and interior gallery, and some discoloration.
