STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PEPPER POT AND OPEN SALT SETS, LOT OF THREE, comprising one set featuring Water Girl pattern depicting a girl filling a jug at a well, one set with Chinoiserie motif featuring pagodas and two figures on a bridge, and one near set featuring a pepper with Basket, Brick and Vase pattern and a salt with flower and vase motif, each having stippled ground. Ralph & James Clews, Cobridge, England; and others. 19th century. 4 3/8" HOA.

Condition
Chinoiserie salt undamaged and pepper mostly undamaged except having a hairline to top of foot; Water Girl pepper mostly undamaged except having a minor flake to foot underside and salt having two rim hairlines primarily visible to interior due to decoration; Basket, Brick and Vase pepper having some minute flakes adjacent to top holes; flower and vase salt with flakes/exfoliation and some discoloration to interior and a Y-shaped rim hairline.
