ANTIQUE AND VINTAGE FRENCH JET / BLACK GLASS AND OTHER JEWELRY, LOT OF SEVEN, comprising a Victorian headband made of two hinged vulcanite sections set with graduated faceted French jet beads and a probably later stretchy cord, three Victorian French jet / black glass brooches of a horseshoe, an ovoid cameo, and a metal branch with applied glass flowers and fruit/leaves, a black-finished metal cameo brooch, a large ovoid buckle with French jet / black glass cameo, and a large round French jet / black glass cameo brooch with gold-toned metal frame. Second half 19th/20th century. Headband 5 3/4" WOA, 5" W inner edges.

Good to very good overall condition with minor wear, other minor to moderate imperfections including surface scratches, nicks, denting/bending to metal, and/or one or a few flakes; headband with one glass bead having a sliver chip to one end, possibly as made; small cameo brooch with a crack or bruise at top edge under one prong; branch brooch with a loss/chip to tip of one fruit/leaf.
