VICTORIAN ANTIQUE GUTTA PERCHA AND OTHER MOURNING / FASHION JEWELRY, LOT OF SIX PIECES, comprising a pair of vulcanite drop earrings, three gutta percha / vulcanite brooches including a bow-form example, and a round-form probably bog oak brooch featuring a shamrock/clover center. Second half 19th century. Bow-form brooch 1 7/8" x 1" OA.

Good to very good overall condition with minor wear, other minor to moderate imperfections including surface scratches, bending to earring hooks and pins, and one or a few flakes/nicks; scalloped brooch with a chip/loss along proper right edge and with spots of moderate wear, pin fastener with solder repairs at terminals of pin and hook clasp; probably bog oak example with glue repair at terminal of pin, possibly with later finish to front.
