POST-CIVIL WAR / ANTIQUE AND VINTAGE VIRGINIA MILITARY AND SCHOOL BUTTON HATPINS, LOT OF FIVE, each button with loop removed having applied hatpin, comprising a post-Civil War Virginia seal button with backmark of "HORSTMANN PHILADELPHIA", a post-Civil War Virginia Military Institute (V.M.I.) Cadet button with backmark of "D. EVANS & CO. ATTLEBORO", a Fishburne School button with backmark of "HORSTMANN PHILADELPHIA", an Augusta Military Academy Cadet button with backmark of "OEHMS ACME HALL BALT", and a Virginia Polytechnic Institute (V.P.I.) button with backmark of "EXTRA QUALITY". Second half 19th/20th century. 6 1/4" to 9" LOA.
