Description
DESCRIPTION: Bronze sculpture depicting Je Tsongkhapa, the main guru of the Yellow Hat school of Tibetan Buddhism, wearing a yellow stone ring hat while seated on a double lotus throne in the vajra posture. Figure makes the mudra for "turning the Wheel of the Dharma" while holding in each hand a winding stem ending in a flower. Marked on underside with a visvavajra.
