A prominent landscape artist, Earl earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the Philadelphia College of Art (now the University of the Arts) where he studied graphic design, painting, and printmaking. Devoting his entire professional life to the art field, Earl worked in the graphic design industry for 38 years, serving as President of Krone Graphic Design from 1973 through 1990. He was also a member of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, Susquehanna Art Museum, and the Mechanicsburg Art Center. A founding member of The Seven Lively Artists, Earl worked with numerous active painters in the Central Pennsylvania area. Earl has exhibited his art in numerous galleries, including the Art Association of Harrisburg, The Mechanicsburg Art Center School and Galleries, where he also taught classes, the William Ris Gallery, Stone Harbor, New Jersey, and in Provincetown, Massachusetts. He also became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Art, London, England in 2001. LR
