Previously relined; vertical surface abrasions and losses lower center; darkening of varnish layer; horizontal area of paint separating from canvas mid-right: diagonal surface marks scattered in lower third: difficult to penetrate varnish layer with UV light, areas of inpainting lower center along top edge, mid-right and upper center: craquelure visible: vertical tear repaired upper center. Frame has age: surface marks, nicks and small losses; separations in corners.
