Item Details

Description

This signed work is titled "A Miner's Goodbye", and depicts a father kissing his child on the forehead. It is by Alfred Dixon (1842-1919), and is signed "A. Dixon" lower right. The edges of the painting are worn and the work has craquelure. The ornate gilded frame is beginning to crack in a few places. The frame measures 25 1/2" x 22 1/2", and the painting measures 18" x 14". In-house shipping is available. Please see our website regarding our in-house shipping procedures.
