Description
An issue of Zhar-Ptitsa, a literary and art magazine published by the Russian emigration from 1921 to 1926 in Berlin and Paris. This lot is issue 7 published in 1922. Circulation of 300 copies. Cover design by Georg Schlicht. The magazine is richly illustrated in color with the late artworks of contemporary Russian artists, such as Sergei Sudeikin, Konstantin Somov, Leon Bakst. The texts are in German and Russian, typed in pre-reform Russian spelling.
