Two 19th Century Medical Flasks. The descriptions for these canteens come per the owner. Sold as is. (1) Civil War style copper kidney medical canteen. Marked, "J. R. Sharples Maker Water St. Accorington." Owner's tag reads, "Civil War Canteen, '"Booze'". Measures approx. 8 1/8" X 10". (1) Glass medical flask with pewter cap and worn leather cover. Owner's tag reads, "Medical Flask." Measures approx. 4 1/4" X 6 1/2". The Larry Mangus Collection, Corinth, Mississippi. Condition- Copper canteen has dents and wear. The glass medical flask's leather cover is worn, missing pieces, etc. See photos.
