Waylon Jennings Personally Owned 1977 Record World Top Album Award W/COA - This award was presented to country music legend Waylon Jennings by Record World in 1977 in recognition of his Top Album, "Are You Ready For The Country", produced by Waylon Jennings and Ken Mansfield. This honor was further recognized by the publisher, editor-in-chief, and vice president of Record World for this special Country Music Awards category. Well known for being the pioneer of the Outlaw Movement in the country music genre, Jennings was part of the supergroup The Highwaymen throughout the 1980s alongside fellow musicians Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson. Jennings was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2001, and passed away in 2002 at the age of 64. This framed lot measures approximately 11 in x 14 in, and includes the original certificate of authenticity issued by Jimmy Velvet, President and Chairman of The Legends Hall of Fame.
